Rolf de Heer: Conceiving and Crafting Cinema on a Modest Budget
Internationally acclaimed Australian filmmaker Rolf de Heer (Bad Boy Bubby, The Tracker, Dance Me to My Song, Ten Canoes) is returning to New Zealand and will hold half-day seminars for screenwriters, directors, and producers in Christchurch and Dunedin. Using his own work for case studies Rolf will focus on the relationship between budget level and story ideas, and the crafting of low budget cinema for the international marketplace. Read more

Call For Applications! Digital Media Workshop
This June Script to Screen in association with CoLab and Nga Aho Whakaari will run a digital media workshop. Up to nine selected teams will spend a weekend producing a 2-minute story-based project for the mobile phone or internet, under the tutelage of experienced practitioners Laurent Antonczak, Bevin Linkhorn, Simon Marler and Pita Turei.
