Script to Screen presents a 90 minute workshop with Michael Bennett on the essential elements of storytelling, remaining true to the core of your idea and how to keep your audience engaged.

Katie will discuss the methodology of creating powerful imagery in a film and how she has achieved this in her three films This Is Her, Redemption and Kawa.
1:30pm – 2.25pm Presenter 4 – Producer John Barnett
John’s presentation will focus on ‘being the driving force’. He will take producers through ownership of their projects; how to make money from films; what films work and what don’t; what you need to do to make a career from producing; and why the producer has to be the key to any project.
2:30 – 3:30pm Panel discussion: What Makes a Great Film Story?
Script to Screen presents a panel discussion with the presenters from the day followed by an audience Q&A. Tropfest Director John Polson, producer John Barnett and writer/director Katie Wolfe talk to writer/director Michael Bennett about talk about what they believe are the defining elements of a cinematic story.
