Application Requirements
Criteria: you must have a completed draft of a comedy feature film script
Your Application Must Include:
- Application Cover Sheet download coversheet here
- C.V. or detailed bio
- a one paragraph synopsis of the feature comedy you have written
- an outline of the story (no more than 3 pages) that gives a sense of the intended style and tone of the film*
- the first 10 pages of the script (feature)
- a statement on how your project’s development might be advanced by the Script Focus Programme with Steve Kaplan
- the $15 application fee
The short-listing and final selection of participants will be carried out by a panel comprising Script to Screen Board members and at least one other experienced film practitioner.
Shortlisted applicants will be notified by the 1st of June, and requested to send a full copy of their feature script for final selection.
The Script Focus Programme will take place in Auckland on Wednesday 30 June.

*Please note that all details of your work will remain strictly confidential and will be discussed only between Script to Screen staff members, selection panel members and Steve Kaplan.
** Selected applicants will be expected to be in Auckland for the Script Focus Programme at their own expense although discretionary support can be made available if those selected are experiencing hardship.
