Script to Screen travels north for a special Writer’s Room on Community Filmmaking and Creating a Community Archive in association with The Hokianga Film Festival,  Nga Aho Whakaari and the New Zealand Film Archive.

Everyone is welcome for this community discussion facilitated by Irene Hancy. Participants can share their thoughts on and visions for community filmmaking, and discuss how to create a community archive.

Nga Aho Whakaari representatives Kath Akuhata-Brown and Pita Turei and New Zealand Film Archive representatives Honiana Love and Mark Sweeney will talk about what they can offer to assist the community in its vision.

The poroporoaki will conclude the hui and will be followed by kai.
