International Scholarships – History

With the generous support of the Film Investment Corporation Foundation & Stella Artois, 2008 saw Script to Screen offering the inaugural U.S. Screenwriting Internship Scholarship. Recipient Leo Woodhead is currently undertaking a three month internship with Killer Films in New York.

In partnership with The British Council, Script to Screen (at the time called The New Zealand Writers’ Foundation) offered U.K. screenwriting scholarships in 2003 and 2005. The recipients of these scholarships were Vanessa Alexander, Kathryn Burnett, and Michael Bennett. These leading New Zealand screenwriters spent several months in the script development departments of Working Title, Box TV, and Film Four.
